Overview:
Over the summer of 2024, a close friend of mine got a job at a sushi restaurant in my hometown. This restaurant, Ten Japan, was a popular destination in town, however, we noticed that they had no website at all.
Since both of us having coding experience and me being a designer, we offered to build them a website. Over the next 3 weeks, we built the website, giving Ten Japan a place where customers can view the menu, read about the business, apply to work, look at photos, and order food.

Other Potential Solutions

Changed Home Page to make menu bar consistent throughout.

Changed Menu to filter items (not my images).
Takeaways:
I learned a lot through the process of making this website. It was a difficult challenge given the limited time and resources available. We were successful in creating a simple site to showcase the restaurant, but there is room for more improvement.
The real website looks slightly different from the prototype. There are a few areas with some spacing issues and design choices I would've done differently. Also, with larger screen sizes such as monitors, some of the pages become distorted. Most phones and laptops should display properly. You can visit the website at tenjapangilroy.com
